Claude is the AI built by Anthropic — one of the smartest AI thinkers in the world. It's the genius doing the actual thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving behind everything your agent does. Think of it as the engine — the operating system your agent runs on. This is the part that costs about $100/month, paid to Anthropic for the smartest brain on the market.
"Claude Code" is a free program that lives in your computer's Terminal (the text window above). It's wired straight into Claude's brain. Unlike a chatbot that only talks, it can actually do things on your computer — build, edit, organize, generate, research, and ship real work. You just tell it what you want.
On top of all that sits your agent — the soul, skills, and memory I build and install for you. Here's the full pipeline every time you use it: you ask → the Terminal carries it → Claude thinks → your agent acts → it's done and remembered.
